The Role

We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Manager who can turn the SipMARGS vibe into content that stops thumbs in their tracks. You’ll live on Instagram and TikTok, flex your creative muscles, and bring our brand voice to life with equal parts wit, energy, and style. This role requires a creative marketer with proven social media experience who can translate brand storytelling into compelling content while strengthening community engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the SipMARGS Instagram + TikTok channels — aid in developing social media strategy and create and manage the content calendar by planning, posting, and keeping us in the conversation
  • Create and edit content that feels fresh, trend-driven, and on-brand
  • Manage community interactions: sliding into DMs, replying to comments, and keeping the vibe fun but consistent
  • Strengthen our brand voice across platforms and find cheeky ways to stand out
  • Support events on-site to capture live content and amplify the experience
  • Track social performance and report back with insights (we love data, but we love growth more)

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of professional social media management experience
  • A strong creative POV and passion for brand storytelling with proven ability to develop engaging digital content
  • Obsessed with social trends — you know what’s about to go viral before it does
  • Experience managing communities and fostering authentic engagement
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a playful, polished tone

Bonus Points

  • TikTok native — you’ve built or worked on growing accounts for consumer brands
  • Alcohol, beverage, or hospitality brand experience
  • Past experience working with influencers, creators, and/or talent
  • Photo/video editing or light design skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite)

  • Imagine SipMARGS is sponsoring a summer rooftop party in NYC. Create one sample Instagram post (concept + rough caption) and one TikTok idea (video concept only, no editing needed) that capture the vibe, highlight the brand, and drive engagement.
  • Question 2: Trend Spotting
  • Identify one current TikTok or Instagram trend you think SipMARGS should jump on. Write how you’d adapt it for the brand in a way that feels playful, cheeky, and on-voice.
  • Question 3: Bringing the Brand to Life
  • Duolingo has their owl — a signature way they show up in culture. What’s a cool way SipMARGS could bring the brand to life on social in a distinctive, memorable way? This could be a character, a recurring content theme, or any creative idea that makes SipMARGS instantly recognizable online.
